Bersatu suspends Mas Ermieyati for two terms
Earlier, Bersatu vice-president Datuk Seri Ronald Kiandee was also suspended.

SHAH ALAM - Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) has suspended its Srikandi chief Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin for two terms after she was found to have breached the party’s constitution and code of conduct.
The Masjid Tanah MP shared the suspension notice on her Instagram page on Tuesday.
According to the notice issued by the party’s disciplinary board, Mas Ermieyati was found to have violated Clause 9.1.4 of Bersatu’s constitution, as well as the party’s code of ethics and conduct for members.
In the post, she appeared to acknowledge the decision.
“Finally, I have been suspended. That’s all the disciplinary board could do. For me, syukur Alhamdulillah. #Reset all the way,” she wrote.
Earlier, Bersatu vice-president Datuk Seri Ronald Kiandee was also suspended for two election cycles, effective Tuesday.
Kiandee and Mas Ermieyati were among party members who attended a gathering on Feb 14 in support of Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, a day after the former Bersatu deputy president was expelled from the party.
Hamzah had previously introduced the “Reset” movement, which he said promotes principles aimed at correcting, improving and strengthening the country collectively.
According to the suspension letter, those affected have been stripped of all party posts and are barred from issuing statements on behalf of Bersatu during the suspension period.
However, they are allowed to submit an appeal to the party’s appeals board within 14 days.
Previously, both Mas Ermieyati and Kiandee had received show-cause letters from Bersatu’s disciplinary board over several allegations.
