Tun M resumes duties after recovery period

SHAH ALAM - Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has returned to his office at Yayasan Kepimpinan Perdana after more than two months, marking a positive step in his recovery following a recent health setback.
Dr Mahathir had been receiving treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Kuala Lumpur since Jan 6 and was recently seen reviewing documents at his desk in a video shared on his official Facebook page.

The footage showed the 100-year-old statesman appearing in good health as he gradually resumes his work routine.
His return offers encouraging signs regarding his condition after he reportedly suffered a fall at his residence in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, which resulted in a fractured hip.
