ASNB announces dividends for ASB 2 and ASM: Here is how much you will get
It will distribute a total income payout of RM2.36 billion.

KUALA LUMPUR - Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB) has declared an income distribution of 5.50 sen per unit for Amanah Saham Bumiputera 2 (ASB 2) and 5.00 sen per unit for Amanah Saham Malaysia (ASM) for the financial year ending March 31, 2026.
In a statement today, Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) announced that ASNB, its wholly-owned unit trust management company, will distribute a total income payout of RM2.36 billion.
ASB 2 declared a total income distribution of RM0.82 billion, equivalent to 5.50 sen per unit to 680,141 unitholders holding 15.88 billion units, while ASM declared RM1.54 billion, equivalent to 5.00 sen per unit to 786,088 unitholders with 31.22 billion units.
As of March 24, 2026, ASB 2 recorded a net realised income of RM0.90 billion, whilst ASM recorded RM1.64 billion.
"Both funds delivered competitive and sustained returns, with dividend distributions in line with the previous financial year.
"This performance was achieved despite a challenging global backdrop marked by uneven economic growth and increased volatility, with heightened geopolitical tensions,” said PNB.
It said that the funds’ disciplined asset allocation, guided by a long-term strategy emphasising diversification across fixed income, real estate and private investments, proved effective in managing market volatility.
PNB noted that the total returns of 5.50 per cent and 5.00 per cent, respectively, outperformed Maybank’s 12-month fixed deposit rate of 2.18 per cent by 332 and 282 basis points.
The income distribution for ASB 2 and ASM is computed based on the average minimum monthly balance held throughout the financial year, and will be automatically reinvested into unitholders’ accounts on April 1, 2026.
PNB further said that transactions for ASB 2 and ASM at ASNB branches and agents, including online channels and internet banking, will be temporarily suspended from March 27 to 31, 2026, to facilitate income distribution computation.
Unitholders may check their income distribution and resume transactions via the myASNB portal (www.myasnb.com.my), the myASNB mobile application, or at ASNB branches and agents nationwide from April 1, 2026. - BERNAMA
