Did Space Dollah just confirm a Syed Saddiq and Bella Astillah engagement?

THE elder brother of Muar Member of Parliament Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, known as Space Dollah, has captured public attention after appearing to drop hints regarding his brother’s relationship with singer and actress Bella Astillah.
In a viral video clip on social media, Space Dollah—whose real name is Syed Abdullah—was seen excitedly receiving gifts from Bella during a TikTok live stream.
"Bella! Bella! She gave me so many gifts... because that day when she gave mama an angpau, I was happy. You gave mama an angpau, you didn't give one to me... now she’s giving me gifts. Thank you so much, Bella," he said.
Space Dollah then accidentally let slip the phrase "welcome to the family", seemingly signalling that the relationship between Bella and Syed Saddiq is becoming serious.
"I appreciate you. I love you. Welcome to... I was just about to say welcome to the family, eh," he remarked spontaneously in the recording.
The footage subsequently went viral, sparking widespread speculation that the pair may be moving towards an engagement in the near future.
The relationship, affectionately dubbed "BASS" by fans, has been a major talking point since the duo first collaborated on a fashion campaign in early 2025.
Bella, who finalised her divorce from singer Aliff Aziz in June 2024, has previously described Syed Saddiq as a "green flag" and a kind-hearted man.
The Muar MP has also been vocal about his admiration for the actress.
During a New Year’s Eve countdown at the start of 2026, he publicly credited Bella for being a constant support for him him, even wearing a shirt featuring her face.
In February, he was further teased in the Dewan Rakyat with "selamat pengantin baru" (congratulations on your wedding) wishes by fellow lawmakers.
Many netizens shared their hopes and prayers for the couple’s happiness, with some even citing March 28 as the historic date to watch, claiming the engagement ceremony would take place this afternoon.
One netizen wrote: "There are rumours saying BASS will be engaged on 28.3.2026, is that date correct? What is certain is that Space Dollah has already 'spilled the tea'."
Some social media users claimed the engagement ceremony would be broadcast live on an entertainment portal.
