“Where is my husband’s killer? A life for a life”: Widow demands justice in Klang crash
The mother of three struggled to hold back tears as she entered the courtroom.

KLANG – “Where is my husband’s killer? A life for a life.”
Those were the words of Nor Nadia Abdul Majid, the wife of Amirul Hafiz Omar, 33, who was killed after being hit by a driver believed to be under the influence of alcohol along Jalan Raya Barat here.
Nor Nadia arrived at the magistrate’s court at 9.53am on Wednesday, accompanied by her lawyer Mohd Faizi Che Abu.
The mother of three, dressed in a black jubah, appeared grief-stricken and struggled to hold back tears as she entered the courtroom.
Also present to lend support were activist Rafidah Ibrahim and businessman Albert Tei.
Earlier, a man in his 20s, who is being investigated for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs causing death, was brought to the magistrate’s court under police escort at 8.53am.
On Tuesday, Klang Selatan district police chief Assistant Commissioner Lim Jit Huey confirmed that the suspect would be charged in connection with the incident.
On Sunday, Amirul was killed in a three-vehicle crash at Jalan Raya Barat at about 11.40am.
Preliminary investigations found that a Honda City driven by the suspect was believed to have overtaken several vehicles before colliding with the victim’s motorcycle.
The impact threw the victim onto a Perodua Myvi and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect was subsequently arrested and remanded for four days to assist in investigations.
The case is being investigated under Section 44(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
