SHAH ALAM - “Mana datang tak tahu” (“don’t know where they came from”), said the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Azam Baki when a group of youths disrupted his address at a public event here today.

He was in the midst of delivering his address when the protest unfolded in front of him.

One of the youths approached the front of the hall holding a placard, prompting Azam to briefly pause before continuing with his speech.

Moments later, another youth shouted “catch Azam Baki”, further interrupting the session.

Event organisers, assisted by auxiliary police, swiftly intervened and escorted the individuals out of the hall.

A third youth, who initially argued with organisers, also left the venue shortly after.

Order was restored soon after the disruption, and the programme continued as scheduled.

The MACC is expected to lodge a police report over the incident.
