Norish Karman’s health deteriorates, family appeals for prayers

Actress Norish Karman is reported to be in declining health, according to an update shared by her daughter, actress Manda Hash, via Threads.
“Our beloved mother’s health is worsening. She is currently in a high-risk condition.
“I sincerely hope that anyone reading this will keep her in your prayers. For us, that is the hope we hold on to,” she wrote.
Norish, whose full name is Nor’Ashikin Karman, has reportedly been battling serious health complications, including extremely low blood and iron levels, for the past two years.
“My mother used to be strong and always worked hard for the family. But now, her condition is deteriorating. Seeing this change is truly heartbreaking for me as a daughter,” Manda shared.
According to a fundraising page, Norish requires ongoing blood transfusions and iron infusion treatments to help stabilise her condition. Any delay in treatment could lead to further complications.
Manda, 22, whose full name is Nur Hanyz Amanda Hashimuddin Abdul Kadir, also revealed that the family is struggling to cope with the rising medical costs.
“I help my mother run a small business to support the family, but our income is very limited as we also care for six other siblings.
“The increasing treatment costs are putting us under immense pressure.
“We have tried various ways to raise funds, including running a business and going live on TikTok to sell preloved shooting outfits, but our efforts are still not enough to cover the required treatment costs,” she said.
Norish, known for her roles in Sayang Salmah and Raja Melewar, was previously married to Hashimuddin Abdul Kadir. The couple divorced on July 15, 2008.
They have four children together: Muhammad Haqiem Amany, 26, Muhammad Hady Amieran, 23, Nur Hanyz Amanda, 22, and Haq Alexander, 15.
Norish also adopted four children: Hasbi Fadullah, 15, Hasya Farahiya, 13, Haziq Fadillah, 12, and Hazra Farisya, 7. – SinarPlus
