Former Sinar Harian Terengganu chief journalist passes away
He was found unconscious at the back of his house.

MARANG - Former Sinar Harian Terengganu chief journalist, Mohd Lazim Endut, 62, has passed away after being found unconscious at his home in Kampung Gong Beris here on Friday.
His wife, Azimah Ismail, 56, said she found the deceased at the back of their house at about 1pm when she was about to perform the Zuhr prayer.
She said that prior to the incident, he had been doing some work in the area.
The deceased, who had a history of high blood pressure, was pronounced dead at the scene.
For the record, Lazim was a pioneer responsible for publishing the first edition of Sinar Harian in 2006 and served as its chief journalist until 2010.
He was an experienced journalist who actively covered political, economic and social issues in Terengganu.
After leaving Sinar Harian, he remained active in writing and also served with several other mainstream media organisations.
Apart from his expertise in news reporting, he was also known for his strong interest in poetic writing and his talent in producing drama scripts and song lyrics throughout his career in writing
