Teacher linked to fatal crash involving Form One student brought to court for remand
The victim was believed to have been struck by a car while putting on her shoes outside the school surau.
KOTA BHARU - A teacher suspected of fatally hitting a Form One student with a car in front of the surau at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Tanjong Mas on Sunday arrived at the court, here, this morning for a remand order.
The 57-year-old woman was brought to the courts complex in a police truck at about 8.40am.
Earlier, Sinar reported that the 13-year-old victim, Nur Fatimatul Hawa Mohd Azaudin, was believed to have been struck by a car while putting on her shoes outside the school surau.
The incident, which occurred at about 1.30pm, left the student with severe injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
