Independent preacher Kazim Elias still weak, not yet able to receive visitors
He was admitted to the hospital to undergo a cardiac procedure involving the insertion of a balloon to improve blood flow.

IPOH - The health condition of Datuk Mohammad Kazim Elias has been reported as stable and showing positive progress after receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a private hospital here.
However, the popular independent preacher, better known as Ustaz Kazim, remains weak and requires continued rest.
His brother, Datuk Mohd Najmuddin said in a Facebook post on Thursday that if his condition continues to improve, he may be transferred to a general ward within the next one to two days.
“Upon detailed examination, there were other heart-related issues that required follow-up treatment later on.
“Today, he has started to speak although his voice is still weak and he also requested to be fed a little breakfast. This improvement is a relief for us as family members,” he said.
He also urged the public not to visit for the time being, as only immediate family members are allowed into the ICU.
“Let him rest fully. For now, all we can do is pray for his swift recovery,” he said.
The Batu Kurau state assemblyman also expressed disappointment over certain parties spreading inaccurate information, including the use of edited images on social media.
“Any updates should only be referred to close family members and the public is advised not to easily believe unverified information,” he said.
Previously, Sinar reported that Kazim, 54, was admitted to the hospital to undergo a cardiac procedure involving the insertion of a balloon to improve blood flow.
