The Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar called for the meeting after 14 Umno assemblyman said they had lost confidence in him and withdrew support for the state government.

SEREMBAN: Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun has called for an emergency meeting at his official residence today.

The Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar called for the meeting after 14 Umno assemblyman said they had lost confidence in him and withdrew support for the state government.

Meanwhile, Negeri Sembilan DAP assemblymen have convened an emergency meeting at their state headquarters.

The meeting at the party's headquarters at Kemayan Square was chaired by DAP secretary-general and state chairman, Anthony Loke.

Loke said a press conference will be held later at the Menteri Besar's residence.

The DAP assemblymen are expected to head to the Menteri Besar’s official residence after their meeting.

Meanwhile, media personnel have started gathering outside the Menteri Besar's official residence.

Invitations for the press conference have yet to be sent out. - THE STAR
