Zayn Malik cancels US Tour dates amid health concerns, refunds automatically issued for fans
The decision has led organisers to issue automatic refunds for all ticket holders and renewed focus on his recovery journey.

SHAH ALAM - Zayn Malik has cancelled all United States (US) dates for his upcoming Konnakol Tour following recent health concerns.
The decision has led organisers to issue automatic refunds for all ticket holders and renewed focus on his recovery journey.
The former One Direction member announced the decision via his Instagram Story, saying he was forced to reassess his touring schedule following a recent hospitalisation for an undisclosed medical condition.
“I have had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and have to reduce the number of shows on the Konnakol Tour. I have been at home recovering and I am doing well and will be better and stronger than before.
“To my fans, thank you so much for all the support and love you have shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers and well wishes for my health. I have felt it and it means the world.
“I want to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can. I am really looking forward to playing these shows for you and I hope to see the rest of you around the world very soon. Big Love, Z,” he wrote.
According to his official tour website, tickets purchased via Ticketmaster for the cancelled US shows will be automatically refunded. However, customers who purchased through third-party resale platforms such as StubHub, SeatGeek or VividSeats have been advised to contact the respective providers directly.
Despite the cancellations, nine tour dates remain scheduled across the United Kingdom (UK), Mexico and South America, including performances at London’s O2 Arena, Manchester’s AO Arena and venues in Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago and Lima.
The tour had initially been planned as a 31-date global run supporting Malik’s latest album Konnakol, released on April 17. It has since been reduced following what the singer described as a necessary reassessment of his health and schedule.

The announcement comes after Malik was hospitalised shortly before the album release, with the singer later sharing that he had experienced a “long week” and was “unexpectedly recovering”.
The 33-year-old singer also thanked hospital staff, including doctors and nurses, for their care during his treatment.
While Malik did not disclose the nature of his condition, he previously thanked fans for their support, saying he would return “better and stronger than before”.
Alongside concern for the singer’s health, public support also led to an unexpected development involving a florist who had been receiving large volumes of orders intended as gifts for Malik and his family.
“Due to the high volume of requests for bouquets for Zayn Malik and his family, we are unfortunately no longer able to take any further orders at this time. We truly appreciate the love and support shown.
“If you would still like to make a meaningful gesture, the Malik family would greatly appreciate donations being made to the Palestine Project via the link below. You are welcome to donate the amount you would have spent on a bouquet and leave a message of support there.
“The fundraiser will be checked by the family and your kind words and contributions will go a long way,” the florist said in a statement shared on Instagram.
The statement also clarified that the initiative was intended as a way to redirect goodwill into charitable support rather than physical deliveries.
Malik has previously cancelled performances due to mental health concerns, including extreme anxiety and has spoken openly about the pressures of fame throughout his career.
He rose to global prominence as a member of One Direction before leaving the group in 2015. The band later continued as a quartet before entering an indefinite hiatus in 2016. In 2024, former bandmate Liam Payne died at the age of 31 following an incident in Argentina.
Malik most recently completed a well-received seven-night residency in Las Vegas before embarking on his planned international tour.
Despite the US cancellations, Malik is still scheduled to perform at several major international venues, including:
- The O2, London
- AO Arena, Manchester
- Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City, Mexico
- Sao Paulo, Brazil
- Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Santiago, Chile
- Lima, Peru
The remaining tour dates are expected to proceed as planned, subject to ongoing recovery updates.
