Offspring, Kapten Batik launch ‘Lineage in Love’ collection blending baby care and heritage design
The introduction of their first-ever daughter set completes this journey, making batik part of the full family experience.

SHAH ALAM – Offspring Inc., a sustainable baby care brand under Sedania Innovator Berhad, has partnered with Kapten Batik to launch “Lineage in Love”, a limited-edition collection that merges baby care essentials with artisanal batik fashion.
The collaboration, launched ahead of Mother’s Day, explores how a mother’s love shapes a child’s early experiences through everyday interactions, from care routines to cultural expression.
The collection features an exclusive Offspring fashion diaper design alongside Kapten Batik’s first-ever complete family apparel range, positioning everyday essentials as meaningful expressions of identity and heritage.
Sedania Innovator Berhad brand and communications head Nur Rahimaton Abdul Shukor said the collaboration reflects a deeper perspective on baby care.
“We often think of baby care as purely functional, but at Offspring, we see it as an extension of how mothers express love in the earliest stages of life.
“It is through these everyday acts of care that familiarity, identity and belonging begin to take shape,” she said.
She added that even a design on a diaper can become a gentle way for a mother to share stories of heritage and culture, reflecting the world of love she hopes to build for her child.
Meanwhile, Kapten Batik creative and product head Fadli Muhsin highlighted the evolving role of batik in modern lifestyles.
“Batik has always been an expression of identity through craftsmanship, traditionally worn during meaningful milestones and celebrations.
“In recent years, we’ve seen it become part of everyday expression. Through this collaboration with Offspring Inc., we are extending that into the earliest stages of life – bringing batik into shared daily moments,” he said.

Offspring brand advocate and partner Zahirah MacWilson said the collaboration highlights the emotional dimension of parenting choices.

Starting May 5, the collection will be available via Offspring’s official website and selected Happikiddo stores, including outlets at The Campus Ampang, Publika, IPC, Citta Mall and The Gardens Mall.
Customers purchasing four packs of diapers from the collection online will receive a complimentary Offspring x Kapten Batik travel pouch with mini essentials, while stocks last.
Kapten Batik’s full family apparel range will also be available at its flagship stores in The Gardens Mall and Publika.
