Tengku Hassanal accompanies injured team member to clinic after conquering Mount Kinabalu
The injured entourage member had received treatment from medical officers at the clinic and was in good condition.

KUNDASANG - The Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, accompanied a member of his entourage to receive further treatment for a leg injury here yesterday.
The Tengku Mahkota’s private secretary, Amir Syaffiq Hamzah, said the entourage member was flown by helicopter from Panalaban on Mount Kinabalu to the Kundasang Health Clinic at 3pm.
He said according to the original schedule, Tengku Hassanal was due to descend to Timpohon Gate from Panalaban after successfully reaching the summit of Mount Kinabalu at 9.30am.
"However, one of the entourage members who sustained an injury required immediate medical attention. He was then taken to the Kundasang Health Clinic,” he told Bernama.
Amir Syaffiq said Tengku Hassanal had initially been eager to descend to Timpohon Gate, but chose to remain with his team and also travelled in the ambulance to the Kundasang Health Clinic, waiting until treatment was completed.
He said the injured entourage member had received treatment from medical officers at the clinic and was in good condition.
He said Tengku Hassanal also expressed appreciation and commended the excellent service provided by the medical officers and staff at the Kundasang Health Clinic.
Earlier, Tengku Hassanal, who led the entourage for the Mahkota Borneo Expedition, reached the summit of Mount Kinabalu at 8.45 am yesterday after arriving at Panalaban at 3.45 pm on Tuesday.
His Highness is scheduled to depart for home at 2 pm today after completing the three-day expedition yesterday. - BERNAMA
