Ryzal Ibrahim recalls terrifying moments as son becomes unresponsive after fall
Watching Maryam repeatedly call out their son's name while he remained motionless was an emotionally painful experience.

SHAH ALAM – Entrepreneur and social media personality Ryzal Ibrahim has shared the anxious moments he and his wife endured after their son, Rian, became unresponsive following a fall from a bed.
In a social media post accompanied by a video of the incident, Ryzal documented the journey to the hospital, showing him behind the wheel, rushing through traffic while his wife, Maryam, sat beside their son, repeatedly patting his back and calling his name in an effort to keep him awake.
Describing the incident as one of the most frightening moments he and Maryam had experienced as parents, Ryzal said their hearts dropped when they saw their son become unresponsive.
"Our hearts dropped when we saw our own child unconscious after falling off the bed.
"Rian cried immediately after the fall but suddenly became quiet, closed his eyes and appeared to lose consciousness," the caption read.
Concerned by his condition, the couple immediately rushed him to the Emergency Department while desperately trying to keep him awake throughout the journey.
"Maryam and I tried our best not to let Rian fall asleep on the way to the Emergency Department, but his body showed no response at all. His eyes remained closed even though Maryam was calling his name at the top of her lungs," he said.
Ryzal said watching his wife repeatedly call out their son's name while he remained motionless was an emotionally painful experience.
"It was heartbreaking to see my wife desperately calling out our son's name. There are no words to describe it. We could only hope and place our trust entirely in Allah SWT, praying for the chance to see our son regain consciousness," he added.
The situation took a positive turn when Rian opened his eyes shortly after they arrived at the hospital.
"When we arrived at the hospital entrance, Rian finally opened his eyes and we immediately requested that the doctor perform a Computed Tomography (CT) scan," he said.
Ryzal did not disclose the outcome of the medical examination but shared the experience as a reminder of how quickly accidents involving young children can occur at home.
Falls are among the most common household accidents involving children, with health experts advising parents to seek immediate medical attention if a child becomes drowsy, loses consciousness, vomits repeatedly, experiences seizures or displays unusual behaviour following a head injury.
Many social media users expressed relief after learning that Rian had regained consciousness and offered words of support and prayers for his speedy recovery.
