TAPAH - Hiker Jaslinda Saludin, 49, who was found safe after being reported missing on Gunung Batu Putih here since May 23, has expressed her gratitude to all Malaysians who prayed for her.

Speaking to Sinar at Kampung Lubuk Gaharu, Pos Musoh, she also offered an apology for her prolonged disappearance, which had prompted a large-scale search and rescue operation.

“Thank you. I’m sorry for causing trouble to Malaysians,” she said.

Found by Orang Asli villagers at around 5.10pm, she appeared weak but managed to smile when greeted.

“Okay, not okay-lah… enjoy life,” she said when asked about her condition.

She was then transported in a Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Perak EMRS vehicle to Tapah Hospital for further treatment.
