Suria KLCC, LEGO Group wrap up inaugural Play Run in KL
Participants of all ages took part in the family-friendly run, which combined physical activity with themed play elements.
SHAH ALAM - Suria KLCC and The LEGO Group concluded the inaugural Suria KLCC x LEGO Play Run 2026 on June 6, bringing together families, LEGO enthusiasts and members of the public for a morning of active play at the KLCC precinct.
The event, held within the iconic KLCC precinct, formed part of the broader LEGO MY Play Festival 2026, which transformed Suria KLCC and KLCC Park into an open playground for families throughout the school holiday period.
The run was officiated by the Chairman and Executive Director of Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd, Francis Tan, alongside representatives from The LEGO Group.
Participants of all ages took part in the family-friendly run, which combined physical activity with themed play elements.
Tan said the turnout affirmed the value of community-centred programming.
“The overwhelming response to the Suria KLCC x LEGO Play Run 2026 demonstrates the importance of creating experiences that bring communities together.
“Through our collaboration with The LEGO Group, we have successfully combined wellness, creativity and family engagement in a meaningful way, reinforcing our commitment to delivering impactful experiences for our visitors,” he said.
The run also complemented Suria KLCC’s annual mental and physical well-being initiative, which saw the return of the mall’s Safe Space programme.
Billed as the first event of its kind in Southeast Asia, the Play Run served as a milestone in the LEGO MY Play Festival campaign, which featured immersive installations, interactive play zones and large-scale LEGO experiences across the KLCC precinct.
