Four-year-old boy dies after fall at water theme park

SUNGAI BULOH – A four-year-old boy died after being found weak and unconscious at a water theme park here on Sunday.
The victim is believed to have fallen after exiting the pool area before being rushed to Sungai Buloh Hospital for further treatment, where he was pronounced dead.
Sungai Buloh district police chief Superintendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said police received a report on the incident, which occurred at a water theme park here on June 14.
"The victim was taken to Sungai Buloh Hospital for further treatment before being pronounced dead by a medical officer.
"Thus far, investigations have found no criminal element and further investigation is ongoing to determine the actual cause of death," he said in a statement on Tuesday.
He said members of the public with information related to the incident are urged to come forward to assist the investigation by contacting investigating officer Inspector Muhamad Zul Irfan Omar at 017-5393648 or the nearest police station.
He also advised the public not to speculate or spread unverified information about the incident until the investigation is completed.
