PH won't take new parties lightly, says Fahmi
The Election Commission has set July 11 as polling day for the Johor state election, with June 27 as nomination day and July 7 for early voting.

KOTA BHARU - Pakatan Harapan (PH) will not take lightly or underestimate the emergence of several new political parties such as Parti Wawasan Negara and Parti Bersama Malaysia, said PH Communications director Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.
He said that instead, the coalition's machinery would intensify efforts to engage with the people and address their problems more effectively.
"For example, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh resolved the 44-year wait of Rumah Panjang Bukit Kiara residents to obtain new housing.
"So, when choosing leaders, we must choose those who are clean, good and who think about the future of the country,” he said after the presentation of appointment letters to the chairmen of the National Information Dissemination Centre Advisory Panels for Kelantan here today.
Asked about PH's preparations for the Johor state election, Fahmi, who is also PKR information chief, said the screening process for potential candidates is ongoing and the names will be announced once approved by the party leadership.
