Muda, PH supporters exchange chants as BN candidate arrives to cries of 'Maju Johor'

The nomination process for the Puteri Wangsa state seat saw a lively atmosphere on Saturday as supporters from different political parties exchanged chants outside the nomination centre.

JOHOR BAHRU - The nomination process for the Puteri Wangsa state seat saw a lively atmosphere on Saturday as supporters from different political parties exchanged chants outside the nomination centre at SMK Taman Dato Onn, Tebrau.

Supporters of Muda, who accompanied candidate Rashifa Aljunied, repeatedly chanted "Bebas Rasuah" and "Bebas Sampah", drawing responses from Pakatan Harapan (PH) supporters gathered at the venue.

Meanwhile, Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Teow Chia Ling received a rousing welcome from her supporters, who chanted "Maju Johor" as she arrived at the nomination centre.

Wearing a light blue outfit, Teow was accompanied by MCA Vice-President Datuk Tan Teik Cheng along with hundreds of BN supporters at SMK Taman Dato Onn in Tebrau.
