SHAH ALAM - Trainocate Malaysia marked its 30th anniversary by investing in the next generation of Malaysian talent through TrAInocate Career Jumpstart 30, an initiative that equipped 116 underserved youths with practical artificial intelligence (AI) skills aimed at improving employability.

The month-long programme brought together participants from welfare homes, community organisations and community colleges, reflecting a broader effort to ensure young Malaysians are not left behind as AI reshapes the future of work.

The initiative concluded with a graduation ceremony attended by the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

It was delivered in collaboration with the Selangor Youth Community (Say) and supported by MyDIGITAL Corporation.

Designed to bridge the gap between digital awareness and workplace readiness, TrAInocate Career Jumpstart 30 provided participants with an "AI Career Toolkit" focused on practical, job-relevant competencies increasingly sought after in today's technology-driven economy.

Participants first learned Generative Content Mastery, using AI tools to develop customised resumes, cover letters and professional communications to strengthen their competitiveness in an increasingly automated recruitment landscape.

They were also trained in Strategic Research Capabilities, where platforms such as Google Gemini were used to conduct in-depth research, analyse industry trends and generate insights to support informed decision-making.

Recognising the growing importance of digital communication, the programme introduced Visual Communication with Canva AI, enabling participants to create professional-quality visual content for personal branding, entrepreneurship and workplace communication.

The final component focused on Workflow Chaining, teaching participants how to integrate multiple AI tools into seamless digital workflows that mirror processes commonly used across modern organisations.

The initiative also highlighted the importance of collaboration between industry, government agencies and community organisations in expanding access to digital skills and employment opportunities.

Say chief executive officer Aiman Syafiq Nazri said the programme was about providing equal opportunities for young Malaysians regardless of their background.

"At Say, our mission is to ensure that every young Malaysian, regardless of background, has the opportunity to thrive in today's economy.

"TrAInocate Career Jumpstart 30 goes beyond teaching technology. It equips young people with practical skills, confidence and exposure to opportunities that can help them pursue careers in the digital and technology sectors.

"As we celebrate 30 years of empowering professionals and organisations through learning, we wanted to create a lasting impact that extends beyond the classroom," he said.

"AI literacy is rapidly becoming an essential employability skill.

"By partnering with organisations such as MyDIGITAL Corporation and Say, we hope to ensure that these newly skilled young people are connected to emerging opportunities within Malaysia's growing digital economy," she said.

Beyond celebrating three decades of operations, Trainocate Malaysia said the programme demonstrates how partnerships between businesses, public agencies and community organisations can create meaningful pathways into the workforce, particularly for underserved communities.

The company said the initiative reflects its continued commitment to nurturing future-ready talent while supporting the development of a more inclusive digital economy, where access to AI knowledge and digital skills is broadened to ensure more young Malaysians can benefit from emerging employment opportunities.
