Football fans travel from afar to join Riuh Bola Sinar

SHAH ALAM - The excitement of watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 final live drew football fans from across the state to the Riuh Bola Sinar x redONE Mobile x RTM event at Restoran Hakim Baru, Section 7, here on Sunday.

Factory worker Mohd Hafiz Shakir, 20, said he and his friend travelled all the way from Kuala Selangor just to watch the final between Spain and Argentina, which was broadcast live at the venue.

He said they were willing to ride their motorcycle over a long distance because they did not want to miss the chance to experience the lively atmosphere of the event.

"As I happen to be on leave tomorrow, we decided to take the opportunity to come here and watch the match.

"The atmosphere is amazing. There are so many football fans gathered here, and there are plenty of fun activities. It was definitely worth the trip," he told Sinar.

Meanwhile, Rahman Isa, 32, said his visit to the event happened by chance while he was, here.

He said he had initially planned to find a mamak restaurant to watch the final before being drawn to the festive atmosphere at Restoran Hakim Baru.

"I was passing through the area and noticed the restaurant was packed with people, so I decided to stop by.

"I didn't expect such a great turnout. It's exciting because it's not just about watching football—there are also various competitions and activities that everyone can take part in," he said.
