Shipping agent walks away with grand prize at Riuh Bola Sinar
The Sinar Harian Spin the Wheel Lucky Draw offered a range of attractive prizes, including a Sony PlayStation 5 Slim Disc, a Nintendo Switch 2 Console, a Samsung Galaxy Tab A11, a Samsung Galaxy A17 LTE 5G, two two-day, one-night stay packages at Dash Resort Langkawi, as well as two RM200 Jakel shopping vouchers.
SHAH ALAM - “Every time there was a lucky draw, I would quietly say my own name to myself. I never expected that I would eventually be announced as the first prize winner.”
That was the reaction of 27-year-old Danish Imran Mohd Jaki after winning the grand prize in the Sinar Harian Spin the Wheel Lucky Draw held during the Riuh Bola Sinar x redOne Mobile x RTM programme at Restoran Hakim, Section 7, here on Monday.
The shipping agent said he attended the event with a friend from Klang to join in the festivities while watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 final.
He said he did not expect to win but continued to hope and pray every time a lucky draw session was held.
“Every time the organisers were about to draw a number, I would quietly say my own name. Alhamdulillah, this time my prayer was answered.
“When my name was announced as the first prize winner, I was truly shocked and very grateful,” he told Sinar on Monday.
Meanwhile, second prize winner Tan Chee Hao, 25, said he never expected luck to be on his side when he attended the programme with his father.
Tan, who works as a chef, said he simply walked to the venue from his home in Section 7 as the event was held nearby.
“I came with my father to enjoy the atmosphere and watch the match.
“I really didn't expect to win because I came just to be part of the event,” he said.
