'New deception' in Negeri Sembilan polls shows DAP running out of ideas - Akmal Saleh

He said DAP had previously misled the public by using the narrative of "vote for BN, Datuk Seri Najib Razak will be released" during the Johor election campaign.

SHAH ALAM - DAP has been accused of running out of ideas as it continues to use misleading narratives to influence voters ahead of the Negeri Sembilan state election.

Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh said DAP had previously misled the public by using the narrative of "vote for BN, Datuk Seri Najib Razak will be released" during the Johor election campaign.

“This time in Negeri Sembilan, they have come up with another new deception. Are they running out of ideas?

“Enough with deceiving the people,” said the Merlimau assemblyman in a Facebook post on Monday.

In the same post, Akmal also uploaded a screenshot of a news report titled "PRU 16: Undi PH atau Zahid PM, kata Pua."

Previously, a news portal reported that DAP’s Tony Pua had urged voters to continue supporting Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the 16th General Election, while claiming that BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi would become Prime Minister if the opposite happened.

According to the former Damansara MP, voting for "spoiler" parties or choosing not to vote at all in GE16 would also benefit BN.
