SHAH ALAM – Home entertainment in Malaysia is entering a new phase as smart projector brand XGIMI officially introduces its intelligent cinema ecosystem, offering lifestyle-focused projectors designed to provide immersive viewing experiences without complex setups, bulky equipment or permanent installations.
The China-based technology company unveiled its latest lineup, including the Horizon 20 Series, AURA 2, MoGo 4, Elfin Flip Plus and Vibe One, aimed at modern households, outdoor users and consumers looking for flexible audio-visual solutions that integrate seamlessly with interior spaces.
XGIMI co-founder Apoll Zhong said the company aims to simplify the traditional home cinema experience by removing unnecessary complexity while developing products that complement users’ living environments.

Leading XGIMI’s new Malaysian lineup is the Horizon 20 Series, which includes the flagship Horizon 20 Max. Designed for home entertainment and gaming, the projector delivers 4K visuals, high brightness and integrated Harman Kardon audio, allowing users to create a cinema-like experience without additional sound systems.
The Horizon 20 Series is also positioned as a high-performance gaming projector, offering features aimed at users seeking responsive gameplay and detailed visuals. It is certified with Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced, while supporting ultra-fast response with 1ms input lag and smooth refresh performance.
For consumers who prioritise aesthetics and space efficiency, XGIMI introduced the AURA 2 ultra-short-throw projector. Designed to sit close to the wall, the AURA 2 can transform a blank surface into a large cinematic display of up to 120 inches without requiring a projector positioned in the centre of the room.
The device features an eco-friendly fabric exterior, curved design elements and an automatic lens cover that helps maintain a clean appearance when not in use.
Beyond entertainment, the AURA 2 also offers Art Mode, allowing users to display artwork and ambient visuals, turning living spaces into personalised galleries.
Meanwhile, the MoGo 4 is designed for consumers who want portable entertainment beyond the home. Approximately the size of a thermos, the compact smart projector features a built-in battery that provides up to 2.5 hours of wireless viewing, making it suitable for outdoor activities such as camping trips, rooftop gatherings and backyard movie sessions.
The device also comes with a 360-degree adjustable stand, allowing users to project content on walls or ceilings depending on their preferred viewing position.
The MoGo 4 includes magnetic lens filters under its “Vibes Machine” feature, which create ambient lighting effects, alongside built-in Harman Kardon speakers and Google TV functionality.
For users seeking compact designs, XGIMI is also introducing the Elfin Flip Plus and Vibe One.
The Elfin Flip Plus features a slim, book-sized design with Full HD resolution, while the Vibe One combines a portable projector with a Bluetooth speaker, featuring a 160-degree handle-stand and eight-colour ambient lighting.
Both products are equipped with automatic setup features designed to minimise manual adjustments and provide a more convenient viewing experience.
XGIMI said the Malaysian launch reflects its ambition to provide consumers with greater flexibility in designing their entertainment spaces.

The full XGIMI range is available through the official XGIMI Malaysia online store, as well as major e-commerce platforms including Shopee and Lazada. Selected Harvey Norman stores will also carry the products, with the first official XGIMI Brand Store scheduled to open at Sunway Pyramid.
