Anthony Loke resigns from DAP Negeri Sembilan chairman after 22 years
The DAP secretary-general said the decision was made out of personal responsibility and without pressure from any party.

KUALA LUMPUR – Transport Minister Anthony Loke has announced his decision to step down as DAP Negeri Sembilan chairman following his defeat in the Chennah state seat in Saturday’s Negeri Sembilan state election.
The DAP secretary-general said the decision was made out of personal responsibility and without pressure from any party.
“This is my personal decision. After leading DAP Negeri Sembilan for 22 years, I believe I should hand over the position to someone else,” he said.
Loke said this during a press conference at the DAP headquarters here on Monday following a meeting of the party’s Central Executive Committee (CEC).
