PUTRAJAYA — More than 4,200 delegates at the 2026 DAP National Conference have begun voting to decide whether the party will remain in or withdraw from the government for the rest of the current term.

The vote, being held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) today, will determine DAP’s position in the unity government.

The voting process is expected to take about two hours after all 14 delegates have completed debating the motion tabled by DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke.

The vote will be conducted by secret ballot, with each delegate casting a ballot instead of voting by voice or a show of hands.
