ISTANBUL - US social media influencer Braden Peters, known online as Clavicular, pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges stemming from the alleged rape of a 17-year-old girl in the state of Massachusetts, Anadolu Ajansi reported, citing US media.

Peters, 20, appeared before Orleans District Court for an alleged assault last year at his family's home in Cape Cod on May 23, 2025.

He faces three charges of rape, administering a substance for sexual intercourse and procuring alcohol for a person under 21.

The influencer was released on US$10,000 bail after surrendering his passport and agreeing not to contact or post about the accuser.

Police documents said the teen alleged that Peters gave her alcohol and livestreamed himself kissing her while she was intoxicated before sexually assaulting her the following morning.

Peters has denied the allegations through his lawyers, maintaining that the sexual encounter was consensual.

The accuser also filed a civil lawsuit in the state of Florida in April, alleging that Peters injected her with a fat-dissolving substance during a livestream without her consent. His attorneys rejected the allegations.

Peters has gained a large online following through content promoting "looksmaxxing", a trend focused on improving physical appearance, sometimes through extreme methods including cosmetic procedures and drug use. - BERNAMA
