State assembly sitting subject to Tuanku Muhriz's consent - MB Ismail
He said the sitting was still planned to take place over five days, beginning Nov 26, subject to royal consent.

SEREMBAN - The Negeri Sembilan Government is seeking the consent of Yang Dipertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir on the proposed dates of the next State Legislative Assembly sitting.
Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim said the sitting was still planned to take place over five days, beginning Nov 26, subject to royal consent.
"We are working to obtain consent, but the plan remains as previously announced, which is to hold a five-day sitting. We will see how it goes," he told reporters after officiating Perpatih Fest 2026, themed Adat Dijaga, Warisan Terpelihara here today.
Asked about claims that the state assembly could be automatically dissolved if it did not convene by February next year, Ismail said the matter required careful examination of the provision in the state constitution.
The state government had previously planned to begin the assembly sitting on Nov 26, with the tabling of the state’s Budget 2027 scheduled for Nov 27. - BERNAMA
