A university student told the High Court today that the father of the attacker in the Ulu Tiram police station attack case had claimed that "the blood of police, soldiers and government officials is permissible to be shed."

A former marketing officer was sentenced to a total of six years in prison by the High Court today on two counts of possessing materials related to the Daesh terrorist group.

The tragic incident claimed the lives of two policemen - Corporal Ahmad Azza Fahmi Azhar, 22, and Corporal Muhamad Syafiq Ahmad Said, 24 - while Sergeant Mohd Hasif Roslan, 38, sustained injuries.
