A forest fire covering an estimated 0.4 hectares at the foothills of Penang Hill along Jalan Air Itam on Sunday was successfully brought under control by the Penang Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), with no injuries reported.

Two men were killed after the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) they were travelling in collided with a fruit-laden lorry at KM141.5 of the southbound North-South Expressway, near the Juru Rest & Relaxation (R&R) area, late last night.
