RANAU, Nov 25 -- Close cooperation between the Sabah government and the federal government in the 17th Sabah State Election does not mean the state is subservient to Putrajaya, but is instead a realistic necessity to ensure the people?s problems are resolved more quickly and effectively.
Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) secretary-general, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, says cordial ties between the two levels of government are crucial as Sabah is part of Malaysia, and many development issues, including infrastructure financing, require joint action.
