Pas has officially ended its political cooperation with Bersatu, the party’s president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang announced today following a special meeting of the Pas Central Working Committee.

As Perikatan Nasional (PH) faces mounting internal strain, attention is turning to whether Bersatu is quietly preparing for a political reset – and whether new alliances with progressive parties could form part of its survival strategy.

With the state assembly dissolved and campaigning set to intensify in the coming weeks, political observers are watching several unpredictable factors that could reshape the contest, upset established calculations and test the strength of every major coalition.
