The EC officially announced that Amizar and BN managed to retain the Pelangai state constituency with 62 per cent of the vote or 7,324 votes over Kasim (4,375 votes) and Haslihelmy (43 votes).

Kasim greeted the residents especially in the Felda area of ​​Pelangai State Assembly.
