Syamsul Haris died on July 28 at Kota Tinggi Hospital in Johor after undergoing training at the Army Combat Training Centre in Ulu Tiram.

Investigations revealed that Namewee, whose real name is Wee Meng Chee, was the last person seen with the 31-year-old victim in a room at a hotel here at about 1.40pm on Oct 22.

The bodies of a woman and her three-year-old daughter were found floating in the waters near Pulau Ketam Jetty on Wednesday.

Forensic examination found a cut on the right arm of the couple's son, while the parents' bodies did not show any suspicious signs.
