The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) has started sending Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD) notifications to individual taxpayers via email, effective Sept 17.

LHDN said the decision was made as the term ‘individual’ under Section 2 of the Income Tax Act (ACP) 1967 is defined as a living person or ‘natural person’.
