Two senior doctors with over 60 years of experience in obstetrics and 8,500 deliveries were found guilty of malpractice after leaving a patient in critical condition under the supervision of unregistered nurses to go for a drink.

The Taiping High Court has awarded RM1.8 million in damages to a former security guard who sustained a brain injury due to medical negligence during treatment following a motorcycle accident in 2016.

The High Court has awarded RM5.1 million in damages to the estate of the late former chief executive officer of highway operator Prolintas, who suffered brain damage after surgery at a private specialist hospital.
