A 42-year-old man died when he was electrocuted after climbing a tree to pluck mangoes in Kampung Bambangan here on June 8.

The High Court ruled that the disputed 263.272 acres (106.542 hectares) of land in Mukim Batu, here, known as the "Duta Enclave", should be returned to Semantan Estate Sdn Bhd, hence declaring the government’s 1956 acquisition of the land invalid.

The government’s appeal hearing against the Kuala Lumpur High Court’s order to transfer ownership of 263.272 acres of land in Mukim Batu, Kuala Lumpur to SESB, has been postponed to Nov 7.
