The suspect reportedly hit the victim on the head with a piece of wood before stabbing her with a machete.

A security guard pleaded guilty at the Johor Bahru Sessions Court to 13 charges of committing sexual offences against his six-year-old daughter in January and February.

The charge was framed under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries the death penalty or life imprisonment of up to 40 years with a minimum of 12 strokes of the cane if not sentenced to death.
