Police conducted an inspection and found that the driver and the front passenger, aged 29 and 37 respectively, had died from gunfire.

Taxi driver S. Subbramaniam, 71, along with passengers Husali Umar, 84, and wife Mastura Said, 63, died at the scene in the mishap that occurred at about 9am.

The incident occurred around 6am when the victim, Bangau Amping, 75, was on his way home after dropping off his wife who sells goods in front of SK Methodist.
