A teacher who reportedly slashed his wife in an incident at their home in Taman Tunas Muda, Sungai Ara, is believed to have done so due to debts from a bank loan and e-commerce installment payments.

The case is being investigated under Section 307 and Section 279 of the Penal Code, as well as Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

The late victim’s body arrived at the Taman Sri Pagi surau for funeral prayers before being buried at the Senawang Islamic Cemetery on Tuesday.
