Bank Negara Malaysia will continue with its engagements with key stakeholders in navigating Malaysia’s economic transition towards a decarbonised future.

Slack in the labour market -- shortfall in demand for labour, relative to the supply of available workers in the economy -- is expected to reduce further as well supported by continued strength in the employment recovery momentum, it said in its Economic & Monetary Review 2022 report.

The common commodities in the transaction include crude palm oil, plastic resin, metals, rubber, crude oil and digital commodities.

This follows the decision by the Reserve Bank of India (India's Central Bank) in July 2022 to allow settlement of International trade in Indian Rupees.
