Abdul Halim said that such a delay will give way to speculations that the current government fears component parties within will withdraw their support or end their tenure should the AHL be tabled.

The special parliamentary sitting slated for April 11 will be held as usual but without the anti-hopping laws, the government announced.    

Umno President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in a Facebook post last night asked if there was a hidden enemy causing delay in tabling the laws.
