The area around Jaya Industrial Park, Ara Damansara in Petaling Jaya, which was closed to the public following an ammonia gas leak at an ice factory last night, has now been reopened to the public.

An ice factory in Taman Perindustrian Jaya, Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya and the area surrounding was closed to the public following an ammonia gas leak at its premises yesterday.

The fire was believed to have been caused by a gas leak that led to an explosion in a house on the 10th floor of the apartment block and it also affected two nearby units.
