Like many athletes, Tze Liang faced an immense mental toll during the Covid-19 pandemic, when lockdowns restricted training and forced him into a routine of online classes and solitary workouts.

A national diver since 2008 and Malaysia’s first male gold medalist in diving at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, Tze Liang has dedicated years to pushing the boundaries of his sport.
