Are the rakyat Umno's toys to play with? Pejuang ask

SHAH ALAM - Pejuang has slammed Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob for holding elections during year-end monsoon season, stating warnings and risks of floods seem secondary to Umno.

Pejuang Information Head Ulya Husamudin said the announcement comes as a surprise.

"Today we were surprised by the dissolution of Parliament by Ismail Sabri.

"This announcement has been made after receiving a briefing on the risk and situation of the impending flood.

"They are willing to risk people's lives and lose property due to the calamity that will strike in order to satisfy Umno's political lust," he said.

Moreover, he advised the rakyat to make a wise decision not to elect the party that was obviously just keen with power.

Ulya further said it was the time for the rakyat to wake up and deliver the right message that the nation is for the people and "kick" Umno out.
