Ebit Lew saves cow from drowning

JOHOR BAHRU - Famous preacher Ebit Lew has caught the attention of netizens when he uploaded a video on Tik Tok of him saving a cow from drowning due to floods.

The 58-second video showed Ebit, or real name Ebit Irawan Ibrahim Lew, who was on a boat with two other men, believed to be doing a flood survey around Segamat, rescuing a cow using a rope and pulling the animal to safety.

He also added short caption expressing his gratitude for being able to save the cow.

"It's sad to see a cow about to drown yesterday near Segamat. Alhamdulillah, I was able to help pull it up and out ," he said in the caption.

The video received a total of 4,687 likes from netizens who gave various reactions in the comment section.

Most of the netizens were saying how they were moved and described the animal as witness (in the afterlife) vouching for Ebit's kind action.

Currently Segamat has recorded the highest number of flood victims in Johor with a total of 12,258 victims from 3,511 families.

All the victims were evacuated in 78 temporary flood relief centres (PPS) in the district.
