SHAH ALAM – A food delivery rider from Kertih, Kemaman has proven that physical limitations are no barrier to determination, completing up to 50 deliveries a day despite losing his left hand in a road accident nearly eight years ago.
Ahmad Nabil Rosli, 26, continues to demonstrate strong commitment to his work, managing between 30 and 50 deliveries daily through discipline and perseverance.
“Usually, I complete around 30 orders. Alhamdulillah, I have also broken my own record in a single day. I once managed to complete almost 50 deliveries.
“It starts from morning until night because working as a rider has its ups and downs. When there are days with good fortune and orders keep coming in, I just accept them,” he told Sinar Harian on Sunday.
Nabil, who delivers food using only one hand, said the increase in orders was driven by his determination to handle every request responsibly.
“I once wondered if it was possible to reach 50 orders in a day. Alhamdulillah, at that time, the sustenance was truly there,” he said.
Sharing his journey on TikTok under the handle @KingOfOneHand, his story of resilience has drawn admiration and inspired many.
Recalling his past, Nabil said a motorcycle accident in 2017 left him in a coma and nearly claimed his life after his motorcycle was dragged along the road and caught fire.
“My father told me that my heart stopped for half an hour and the doctors made every effort to save me. It was a critical moment,” he said.
Choosing to remain positive, he described the incident as a second chance at life.
“Who wouldn’t cry at that time? But many people were kind and understanding and they gave me words of encouragement. Alhamdulillah,” he added.
Now no longer wearing a prosthetic hand due to nerve pain, Nabil credits the unwavering support of his parents, siblings and close friends for helping him regain confidence and independence.
He continues to share his daily routine on social media to inspire others and remind the public never to give up, regardless of the challenges faced.
