SHAH ALAM – Baskin-Robbins Malaysia has launched its new Japan Summer Series nationwide, introducing Japanese-inspired ice cream flavours and limited-time treats crafted with premium ingredients.
Available at all Baskin-Robbins outlets across the country from Oct 1, the series highlights novel offerings alongside the brand's expansive menu.
The newly introduced ice cream flavours include Matcha, crafted using premium green tea powder sourced from the historic 150-year-old Kyoto merchant Kitagawa Hanbei Shoten, as well as Musk Melon, featuring a light milk finish.
The line-up also includes Popping Shower, Japan’s top-selling flavour, combining cool mint and white chocolate ice cream with popping candy, alongside a citrusy Lemon Sherbet.
Speaking on the launch, Baskin-Robbins Malaysia and Singapore director Cheah Jia Ming stated that flavour discovery remains central to the brand's experience.
“Choosing an ice cream flavour is one of life’s little joys and at Baskin-Robbins, we have always put flavour discovery at the heart of the experience.
“This same spirit of discovery inspired our Japan Summer Series, bringing together flavours that give Malaysians a taste of Japan in a way that is still uniquely Baskin-Robbins,” Cheah said.
He noted that the Japan Summer Series aims to offer Malaysians an authentic taste of Japan infused with Baskin-Robbins' signature touch, adding that more creative flavour innovations are slated for release in the future.
In addition to the scoop offerings, the brand is introducing special menu formats available until Nov 11.
These include the Japan Trio Waffle and the Japan Triple Fun Scoop cone, both featuring Matcha, Musk Melon, and Popping Shower flavours together.
Customers can also opt for beverage variations via the Japan Summer Series Blasts, which come in Matcha, Musk Melon and Lemon Sherbet options.
While the new ice cream flavours will permanently join the Baskin-Robbins menu, the waffle, scoop cone, and blast items remain exclusive to the limited-time promotion ending on Nov 11.
Customers purchasing any of the limited-time menu items will also receive a complimentary Japan Summer Series puffy sticker per receipt, available while stocks last.
