Man dies after collapsing during running event

PUTRAJAYA - A 42-year-old man died after collapsing while taking part in a running event here on Sunday.

The victim, Mohd Fazimin Shahidan, was rushed by ambulance to Putrajaya Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6.54am.

Putrajaya district police chief ACP Aidi Sham Mohamed said in a statement that preliminary checks found the victim had no history of illness.

“A post-mortem is being conducted at Putrajaya Hospital to determine the cause of death,” he said.
